About us: Camp Stomping Ground was founded in 2015 with the mission to bring kids from different backgrounds together to engage in authentic play. We strive to create a community that showcases what the world could be if we partner with each other, talk through conflict, and employ humble curiosity to understand those who are different than us. We see conflict as an opportunity for deeper connect, and we use restorative justice practices, to deeper our understanding of each other and come together for more engaging and magical experiences. Camp Stomping Ground is a residential summer camp located 15 minutes west of Saratoga Springs, NY. We offer four two-week sessions for campers:
June 19-June 26 (Flexible)
June 28-July 10 (Required)
July 12-July 24 (Required)
July 26-August 7 (Required)
August 9-August 21 (Required)
Job Overview
Camp Stomping Ground is seeking 2-3 compassionate and skilled Summer Camp Nurse (RN/LPN, or EMT) to be part of our vibrant, fast-paced camp community in the summer of 2026. This role is more than just a job - it's an opportunity to work alongside an incredible team to inspire the next generation of radically empathetic decision-makers. You can live on site in a private room in the camp Medical Center or commute if local.

What You'll Do
- Provide daily health care for campers and staff, including administering first aid and medication.
- Maintain accurate health records and manage the camp's health center.
- Support a culture of safety, empathy, and inclusion.
- Coordinate with local medical professionals in case of emergencies.
- Collaborate with a passionate team to create a joyful and empowering camp experience for all.
- Provide overnight on call support for campers and staff as needed.
Who You Are
- Licensed RN/LPN, or EMT (or similar medical qualification).
- Experienced in pediatric, school, or camp nursing (preferred but not required).
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, ever changing environment.
- A team player with strong communication, problem-solving skills, and interpersonal skills.
- Excited about working with kids and supporting their growth and development.
