Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Part-Time Maintenance & Grounds Worker to help maintain our buildings, grounds, equipment, and outdoor areas. The ideal candidate is someone who takes pride in their work, can work independently, and is comfortable performing a variety of general maintenance and groundskeeping tasks.
Responsibilities
- Perform general building and property maintenance
- Maintain lawns, landscaping, flower beds, and outdoor areas
- Mow, trim, weed, rake, and perform seasonal grounds maintenance
- Perform minor repairs and maintenance as needed
- Assist with painting, basic carpentry, plumbing, and other general repairs
- Maintain and organize maintenance tools and equipment
- Assist with snow and ice removal during winter months, as needed
- Inspect property and report maintenance or safety concerns
- Set up and clean up areas for events or activities
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Previous maintenance, landscaping, groundskeeping, or related experience preferred
- Basic knowledge of hand and power tools
- Ability to perform physical work, including lifting, bending, standing, and walking for extended periods
- Ability to work independently and manage assigned tasks
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable
- Strong attention to detail
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
