The ideal candidate will oversee all aspects of camp operations, ensuring a safe and engaging atmosphere for children and staff. This role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and a passion for working with kids. The Summer Camp Director will play a vital role in creating memorable summer experiences while maintaining high standards of accountability, leadership, and safety.

Weeks of Camp Operation: May 25 - August 7
Part-Time Hours required before camp for hiring and setup (flexible)
Part-Time Hours required after camp for tear down (flexible)
Hours of Operation: 7:30AM - 5:30PM (Director 8AM - 4PM)
Required In-Person Paid Training (Plymouth, MI): March 13, 2026 - March 15, 2026
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Hold morning meetings, employee performance meetings, and accomplishment call-outs to build a culture of fun, comradery, and transparency.
- Manage camper enrollment, communication with parents, and address any concerns or issues promptly.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, health protocols, and licensing requirements.
- Foster a positive camp culture that promotes teamwork, inclusivity, and personal growth among campers and staff.
- Oversee the maintenance of camp facilities and equipment to ensure a safe environment.
- Collaborate with the Owners, Facility, and other Tenants to sustain a positive working environment for all stakeholders.
Experience
- Classroom or camp management experience required
- Bachelor's Degree in Teaching, Early Childhood Education, or other similar field
- Demonstrated leadership skills in managing teams or programs involving youth or students.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, staff, and community partners.

Pay/Benefits
- $25/hr during part time pre- and post-camp hiring, setup and breakdown
- $1,200/wk exempt during weeks of camp operation
- Paid Franchisor training in Plymouth, MI (compensated and all expenses paid)
- Free summer camp, including before and after care, for candidate's kids or 2 free giftable weeks to use at your discretion
