Pediatric Dental Front Desk Coordinator
Camp Little Tooth Pediatric Dentistry is seeking an experienced and highly organized Pediatric Front Desk Coordinator to join our established practice.
This role is the heart of the patient experience and is responsible for ensuring smooth daily front office operations, clear communication, and a welcoming, efficient environment for our families.

Camp Little Tooth is a modern, fully digital pediatric dental office designed to create a fun, camp-themed experience for children while delivering high-quality clinical care. Our Tongue Tie and Airway Center, located within the same complex, expands our care model to include infant frenectomy services and feeding therapy coordination.
We are a well-established, systems-driven practice committed to excellence in both patient care and team experience.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain an efficient and productive daily schedule
- Schedule new patients, recalls, and treatment appointments appropriately
- Confirm appointments and manage schedule changes or gaps
- Greet patients and families and provide a warm, welcoming experience
- Check patients in and out accurately and efficiently
- Answer phones, texts, and emails in a timely and professional manner
- Verify insurance eligibility and review patient benefits prior to appointments
- Clearly communicate treatment plans, fees, and financial expectations to families
- Collect payments and manage patient accounts and balances
- Submit insurance claims and follow up on outstanding or unpaid claims
- Assist with accounts receivable and insurance tracking
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in Open Dental
- Coordinate communication and scheduling with Tongue Tie and Airway Center
- Support clinical team by ensuring smooth patient flow throughout the day
- Follow office systems, protocols, and front desk procedures consistently
- Monitor and complete daily administrative tasks and checklists
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front office environment
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of dental front office experience required
- Pediatric dental experience preferred
- Experience with Open Dental software preferred
- Strong understanding of dental insurance and billing processes
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
