Camp Kennybrook is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Program Director for the Summer 2026 season! If you're a natural leader with a passion for creating unforgettable camp experiences, we want to hear from you!

About Camp Kennybrook:

Camp Kennybrook is a traditional sleepaway camp in the beautiful Catskill Mountains of New York. We pride ourselves on being a close-knit community where campers and staff alike create lasting memories, grow as individuals, and feel truly known.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Assistant Director to design, implement, and refine the daily program schedule for campers.
• Plan and schedule engaging evening activities for camper groups, assigning staff as needed.
• Coordinate off-campus activities, including horseback riding and banana-boating.
• Manage weekly sign-ups for specialty (elective) activities and liaise with specialist staff.
• Schedule nightly campfires for bunks.
• Attend daily morning leadership meetings to discuss schedule adjustments, special events, and staff coverage.
• Plan and execute special themed days throughout the summer, such as Fourth of July, Carnival, Halloween, and other creative ideas!
• Assist with the planning and implementation of orientation week for counselors.
• Oversee the tracking and distribution of camper prizes, including pizza parties, late curfew, and extra canteen privileges.
