What are the responsibilities and job description for the Summer Camp Nurse Position position at Camp Kennybrook?
SEEKING NURSES Camp Kennybrook, a premier co-ed traditional sleep-away camp located in upstate New York is currently seeking qualified nurses to join our professional medical staff. Our state-of-the-art Health Center is equipped with air conditioning, private rooms, bathrooms, laundry, WiFi and cable.
The dates of employment would be for our second summer session which runs from July 21st - August 14th.
Compensation:
- Competitive salary plus all meals, housing, and use of beautiful camp facilities
- Reimbursement for NY license and travel
- Nurses with camp-aged children are eligible for camp tuition scholarship plus a salary
Responsibilities:
- Medical treatment of campers and staff
- Medication administration at designated times
- Care of inpatient campers and staff
- Medical record management and documentation
- Packaging and preparing medication for camper trips
- Communication with parents
