Now Hiring Lifeguards for Summer 2026!
Are you a certified lifeguard or swim instructor looking for a summer position? We are a Bergen County–based day camp hiring lifeguards for Summer 2026 (June 23–August 14).
This is an excellent opportunity for high school or college students looking to spend their summer in a fun, meaningful environment—as well as for experienced professionals seeking a rewarding seasonal role.
Competitive pay, commensurate with experience.
(Compensation typically ranges from $1,000–$6,000 and will match your experience and qualifications. Specialty position pay varies.)
We’re looking for individuals who have:
- Previous experience working with children
- Current lifeguard certification (or are in the process of obtaining certification)
- A passion for working with children ages 4–9
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to learn quickly
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative attitude
- A commitment to inclusivity and respect for diversity in culture, race, sexual orientation, religion, gender identity, and ethnicity
- The ability to seek and accept supervision and guidance
- Enthusiasm, good judgment, patience, adaptability, and self-control
