Responsibilities:
- Provide compassionate care and handling of dogs in our facility
- Managing group play and implementing daily enrichment activities
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in animal living areas
- Monitor and ensure the well-being and safety of dogs under your care
- Assist with pack management, feeding, and exercising dogs in our daycare and boarding programs
- Follow established protocols for animal care
- Communicate effectively with teammates and maintaining a positive culture and environment
Requirements:
- Previous experience in animal handling is preferred. On the job training provided
- Knowledge of basic animal care practices and procedures
- Ability to work well in a team environment and follow instructions closely
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate attitude towards animals
- Physical ability to lift and move animals of various sizes
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 per week
