Visitation School is partnering with the National Inventors Hall of Fame® (NIHF) to provide Camp Invention®, a unique out-of-school-time STEM enrichment program for children in our community, July 11 - 15, 2022.

To bring this exciting experience to children in our area, we are looking for Camp Instructors to support the Camp Director in promoting the program and facilitating hands-on, inquiry-based activities this summer.
- Instructor Position(s)
Camp Invention Instructors engage children through hands-on, inquiry-based activities that are part of an overall storyline and theme. Each day features Inductee stories, Step-By-Step Instructions, Guiding Questions, and Discussion prompts. Must be a certified educator.
- Base Stipend: $500
- CEUs: 3
During this weeklong adventure, children entering grades K-6 will create, collaborate, problem solve and build confidence while rotating through four themed activities. This summer, you can empower children to use their big imaginations, have fun and build critical skills for their future.
Research shows just ONE week of Camp Invention results in improvements in creativity, STEM interest and problem-solving skills. It can also lead to improved test scores and an increase in average GPA.
Team-member-to-child ratios for this program are 1:8, and the size of the program runs between 35 and 120 participants. This position includes a stipend, discounted rates for your children to attend the program, training, curriculum and lesson plans, job-embedded professional development, and all materials needed to facilitate the program.
