Wolfgang Confectioners currently has an opening for a Maintenance Technician at our Camp Hill Facility.
The maintenance technician will be a part of a maintenance crew whose duties are to maintain and repair production equipment and building systems to meet production standards, minimize down time and assure compliance with company safety standards and OSHA regulations. Independent judgment required, plans schedules and prioritize work activities under the general supervision of the Maintenance Manager or Shift Supervisor.
- Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production to help minimize downtime while adhering to company safety standards and OSHA regulations.
- Performs regular preventative maintenance on machines and equipment.
- Diagnose problems, replace or repair, parts, test and adjust for optimal performance.
- Oversees and assist outside vendors.
- Knowledgeable of functions and performance levels of production/packaging equipment.
- Knowledgeable in equipment operations to properly and efficiently make repairs, adjustments and modifications.
- Make recommendations to improve or modify existing process to prevent production delays and to increase production efficiency.
- Assist the training department with operations training.
- Responsibilities are complex and the quality of decisions made contribute to production efficiency, safety of the employees and overall success of the company.
- Monitor and inventory various supplies, parts, and maintenance equipment.
- Follow all Wolfgang Food Safety and Quality policies and programs.
- Works hand in hand with production supervisors, lead persons and operators to maintain the manufacturing of safe and quality foods.
Education, Skills, & Experience:
- Demonstrated mechanical and electrical knowledge. Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Analytical thinking.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
