Role Description
This is a SEASONAL full-time on-site Summer Camp Staff position located in Nevada City, California. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and engaging with participants in various programs and activities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment. Daily responsibilities include leading recreational activities, facilitating workshops, assisting with program logistics, and fostering positive relationships among campers. As part of the staff team, you will also contribute to the planning and execution of day-to-day camp operations while maintaining a professional and energetic attitude.
Summer Dates: July 5th - Aug 7th
Compensation: $575/week
Qualifications
- Strong Interpersonal Skills and the ability to build positive relationships with participants and team members.
- Excellent Communication skills, including the ability to effectively convey information and instructions to diverse groups.
- Enthusiasm, flexibility, and passion for working in an outdoor and team-based environment.
- Previous experience in camp or youth program settings is a plus.
- Ability to maintain a safe, inclusive, and positive atmosphere for all participants.
- First Aid/CPR certification is preferred, but may be obtained after hire
