Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Lifeguard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety of all pool patrons, providing excellent guest services, and maintaining a clean and safe swimming environment. This role requires strong swimming skills, the ability to perform first aid and CPR, and a commitment to upholding safety standards at all times.
Responsibilities
- Monitor pool activities to ensure the safety of all guests.
- Enforce pool rules and regulations to maintain a safe environment.
- Respond promptly to emergencies, administering first aid and CPR as necessary.
- Conduct regular inspections of the pool area, including water quality checks and cleanliness.
- Perform routine pool maintenance tasks, including cleaning and chemical balancing.
- Assist guests with questions or concerns, providing exceptional guest services.
- Participate in regular training sessions to stay current on lifeguarding techniques and safety protocols.
- Report any unsafe conditions or incidents to management immediately.
Requirements
- Current Lifeguard certification from a recognized organization.
- CPR and First Aid certification required.
- Strong swimming skills with the ability to perform rescues if needed.
- Experience in guest services is preferred.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary (e.g., moving pool equipment).
- Knowledge of pool maintenance practices is a plus.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to safety.
