Theater Director - Summer 2026
**Camp Echo Lake is a full season sleep-away camp located in the beautiful Adirondack Mountains of Upstate New York**
Camp Echo Lake is currently looking for a qualified professional to serve as their Theater Director to manage their summer program and be part of their 2026 team. If you are looking for an opportunity to build upon your experience in teaching, programming, lesson planning, and, of course, child development, then do not hesitate to reach out about this opportunity.
The Theater Director will lead a team of 4 and be responsible for putting on 4 shows throughout the summer with their team. One for our 8-year-old age group, one for our 9 and 10-year-old age groups, one for our 11 and 12-year-old age groups, and finally one for our 13 and 14-year-old age groups.
The position starts June 16th and ends on August 16th, travel will be partially covered as part of compensation, and room, board, and recreational activities will be provided for the summer. As an Ideal Candidate, you possess the following skills and competencies:
- Experience working with children between the ages 7-16;
- Experience working and collaborating with your peers;
- Experience directing a theater program for children 7-16;

- The ability to receive and deliver constructive feedback; and
- The desire and capacity to have a fun, active summer in the Adirondack region of Upstate New York.
