Retreat Season Staff play an essential role in creating a welcoming and enjoyable experience for guests attending retreats, family camps, conferences, and other programs at Camp DeWolfe.
While the weather permits, staff lead a variety of outdoor activities, including archery, mountain biking, high ropes, waterfront activities(canoeing, kayaking, paddleboarding), arts and crafts, and more. Staff receive training in the activity areas they lead and are expected to provide safe, engaging, and guest-focused experiences.
In addition to program leadership, Retreat Season Staff assist with the daily operations of camp by supporting food service, including meal preparation, serving meals, dining hall setup and cleanup, and maintaining a clean dining environment. Staff also help with housekeeping and facility cleaning, preparing guest accommodations, cleaning common areas, and ensuring camp facilities remain clean, safe, and welcoming throughout each retreat.
This position is a great way to build leadership, customer service, hospitality, and outdoor recreation skills while enjoying a flexible weekend schedule during the fall retreat season. Retreat Season Staff should be dependable, adaptable, and willing to assist wherever needed to provide an exceptional experience for our guests.
