What are the responsibilities and job description for the Art/Film/Digital Media Mentor/Teacher(s) position at Camp Createability?
Camp Createability is a Video and Entertainment program for individuals with Autism or other disabilities. We provide educational and vocational opportunities for children, teens, and adults to learn the process of making a short film, animation, web design, and more. Our goal is to foster the greatest possible degree of independence and competence for individuals to live, work and be a part of the community.
We are looking for staff for our new location in Portage, WI. Some of the duties will include assistance in the all aspects of film development and editing, teaching art or teaching digital media while working with individuals with autism or other neurodevelopment disorders.
This position requires excellent time management, communication skills as well as a great deal of patience and flexibility. The candidate must also be professional, creative, highly motivated, and passionate about the arts.
The position is available immediately for 10 - 25 hours per week. May increase in the near future as we add more clients. If more hours are desired it may be possible for you to also work at our East Madison Location.

Responsibilities:
- Work with individuals on the autism spectrum in all aspects of video and photographic production and education, digital art, all forms of art, etc.
- Help develop curriculum as needed.
Requirements:
- Able to commit at least 10-15 hours a week
- 1 year of direct experience in film production, fine art or digital media.
- experience in art (drawing, painting, clay)
- Knowledge of digital videography and photography cameras and equipment
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suites (premiere pro, after effects, animate, photoshop, etc.).
- Knowledge in procreate (not required, but helpful).
- Ability to deliver videos with cuts, graphics, sound and other elements that convey a quality production value and a level of technical sophistication
- Prior work with individuals with autism or special needs a plus
- Must have patience to work with individuals on various developmental levels
- Must have knowledge of digital media programs
- Have an interest in social good and community
