Our medical team plays a vital role in ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of the campers we serve.
Position Summary
We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and adaptable RNs, LPNs, or EMTs to join our medical team as Seasonal, Weekend and PRN staff. This position is ideal for a healthcare professional who value meaningful work, thrive in a non-traditional setting, and want to make a lasting impact.
Schedule:
- Variable based on seasons, Schedule will be discussed in more detail during the interview process
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care and medical oversight to campers of all ages and abilities
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
- Respond promptly and effectively to medical emergencies
- Adapt quickly to changes in routine and multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Maintain accurate and confidential medical documentation
Required Qualifications:
- Current RN or LPN license or EMT certification
- Licensed/certified to practice in the State of Iowa
- Current CPR certification
- Mandatory Reporter certification (or willingness to obtain)
Preferred Qualifications but not required:
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities
- Camp, community health, school nursing, or residential care experience
