Role Description
The Senior Staff role is a seasonal, on-site position located in Honesdale, PA, at Camp Cayuga. Responsibilities include overseeing camp operations, managing activities, guiding and supporting campers, and collaborating with the leadership team to ensure a safe and engaging environment. Senior Staff positions hired for include; athletic directors; art directors; waterfront staff; horseback staff; medical staff (RNs, LPNS, EMTs); food service, support staff (kitchen staff, maintenance, van driver); and office administration. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with children and talented individuals from diverse backgrounds, helping to foster growth and provide a wonderful summer experience for all participants.
Qualifications
- Experience in leadership roles, team management, and mentoring.
- Proficiency in your field of expertise, such as athletics, arts, adventure activities, or administration duties.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse individuals in a team-oriented environment.
- Energetic, adaptable, and passionate about working with children and youth in a camp setting.
- Previous experience in camp settings or working with youth is preferred but not mandatory.
- First Aid and CPR certification is a plus, along with any other relevant qualifications or certifications related to your expertise.
