What are the responsibilities and job description for the Summer 2026 RN Camp Nurse Position position at Camp Carolina?
Camp Carolina is looking for an RN for our Main (6/28-7/24) and Third (7/26-8/9) Sessions. 1 to 6 week contracts available. (basic blurb about CCB that you guys put in other ads?). We operate under orders from our local pediatrician and have a camp physician on call 24/7.
Minimum Requirements: active RN license in North Carolina (compact licenses accepted) and must enjoy working with children of all ages.
Responsibilities include: Ensuring the physical and emotional well being of campers and counselors. Caring for injured and sick campers and counselors, dispensing prescription and over the counter medications, maintaining a clean and hygienic infirmary, parent communication, maintaining accurate camper and counselor health records
Compensation: 1 to 6 week contracts available. Housing on camp, three meals a day in the dining hall, $1300/week (6 shifts on with 1 day off). Use your time off to explore the area or even go on some of the high-adventure trips camp has to offer! We can also provide a trade for services if you have a camper who is interested in attending camp!
