Camp Bow Wow San Diego is looking for an experienced, motivated, and entrepreneurial Independent Dog Groomer to help build and grow our grooming program. This is an excellent opportunity for a groomer who wants the freedom of running their own business while working within an established and trusted dog care facility with a loyal client base.
Position Overview
We are seeking a full-service independent groomer with at least 2 years of professional grooming experience who is passionate about pet care, customer service, and growing a successful grooming operation.
This is a commission-based / groom room rental opportunity ideal for someone ready to take ownership of the grooming department and build long-term clientele within our busy daycare and boarding environment.

Responsibilities
Perform full-service dog grooming including:
Bathing
Haircuts and breed-specific styling
Nail trims and grinding
Ear cleaning
De-shedding treatments
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe grooming space
Build relationships with clients and their pets
Recommend grooming schedules and services
Manage appointments and client communication
Help develop and grow the grooming program within the facility
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years professional dog grooming experience
Ability to groom all breeds, sizes, and coat types
Strong handling and safety skills
Excellent customer service and communication
Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset
Reliable, organized, and professional
Must love dogs and work well in a team environment
Compensation
Commission-based pay and/or groom room rental arrangement
Compensation structure negotiable based on experience and business model
