Experience Requirements:
✅ 1 year of professional animal care experience (NOT PET OWNERSHIP)– REQUIRED
✅ 1 year of bathing and nail trim experience (NOT PET OWNERSHIP)– Preferred but not required
✅Pet CPR Certified – Preferred but not required
✅1 year Gingr program training– Preferred but not required
About Us:
Camp Bow Wow® is a premier doggy day care and overnight boarding facility that provides a fun, safe, and upscale environment for dogs. We are looking for dedicated individuals to join our team! This part-time role offers opportunities for advancement and the possibility of moving to full-time.
Job Overview:
We are seeking active and energetic individuals who are passionate about working with dogs in a physically demanding, fast-paced environment. Successful candidates must have strong time management, communication, and multitasking skills while ensuring the safety and well-being of all dogs in our care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and ensure the safety of all dogs in play yards
- Monitor and evaluate dog behavior, reactions, and interactions
- Maintain a clean and sanitary facility, including sweeping, mopping, and restocking supplies
- Perform dog baths, nail trims, and basic grooming tasks
- Conduct dog health checks throughout the day
- Assist with dog evaluations ("Interviews") to determine playgroup compatibility
- Provide excellent customer service to pet parents
- Attend additional training as needed
