Position Overview
The Annual Giving Manager is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive annual giving strategy to meet fundraising goals. This role works closely with the Director of Development and CEO to strengthen donor relationships, expand community engagement, and enhance fundraising initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive annual giving strategy across multiple revenue streams
- Plan and execute fundraising events, including the annual Fish Fry
- Build and manage donor stewardship programs to increase retention and engagement
- Cultivate relationships with donors, churches, corporations, and community partners
- Recruit and manage volunteers and event committees
- Monitor and evaluate fundraising performance, implementing strategic improvements
- Collaborate on broader development efforts, including campaigns, board initiatives, and donor outreach
- Represent Camp Aldersgate in the community and at partner events
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in nonprofit management, marketing, public relations, or related field
- Direct fundraising experience required
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and public speaking skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and donor management systems
- Passion for mission-driven work and serving diverse communities
Preferred Qualifications
- 5–7 years of progressive nonprofit fundraising or development experience
- Experience with CRM platforms (Neon preferred)
- Familiarity with Arkansas nonprofit fundraising landscape
Position Details
- Full-time, exempt position
- Schedule: 40 hours per week, with occasional evenings and weekends
- Some travel may be required
