What are the responsibilities and job description for the Concrete Estimator/Project Manager position at Camm Concrete LLC?
Responsibilities (include but not limited)
- Manage bid invitations
- Generate take-offs from the job plans, specifications & schedules
- Obtain pricing from vendors for materials and equipment for estimates/proposals
- Generate proposals/Estimates and submit to client/GC
- Follow up with contractors for acceptance/rejection after bids have been sent
- Attend pre-construction meetings for every newly acquired commercial project
- Provide job submittals
- PM to lead Project Teams in the successful completion of projects, from the initial hand-off from Estimating through final completion and close-out
- Establish and communicate expectations and accountability necessary for project success
- Proactive communication with GC/PM's/ /Superintendents on project status
- Proactive communication with company officers
- Submit change Orders/ RFI’s
- Review /submit T&M tickets
- Manage project punch list
Job Qualifications/Competencies:
- Experience with estimating software
- Must have experience in reading plans/drawings
- 5 years of experience in commercial construction estimating/PM ( concrete work)
- Full knowledge of Microsoft suite & outlook
- Excellent communication skills
- Attentive to detail & accuracy
- Able to work and communicate effectively with owners, foreman, office staff, vendors, as well as clients
- Knowledgeable on commercial concrete work
- Strong work ethic & integrity
- Excellent organizational and negotiating skills
- Knowledgeable on construction safety processes

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $85,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
