SUMMARY:

A detail oriented and organized professional with the ability to work with customer -provided and internally produced product artwork, private label custom packaging, in-house sales brochures, digital imaging, revision history, and vector-based artwork. They will assist with the creation and maintenance of all customers, production, and internal graphic files; ensuring that all associates only have access to accurate files for department production equipment. Responsible for reviewing and maintaining internal logs and schedules- while confirming we meet all Print and Laser schedules. The position requires an ability to be multi-task oriented, self-sufficient, dependable, ability to cope under pressure, maintain good judgement, eager to learn. 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:         

·        Create and, revise artwork using Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and CorelDRAW for product customization and packaging.

·        Layout product logos, inscriptions, and marketing graphics for engraving and printing.

·        Follow customer CI and brand guidelines.

·        Perform quality checks and complete product inspection documentation.

·        Organize, Maintain, and archive digital files per ISO Standards to ensure only the most current artwork is in use.

·        Coordinate with internal teams (sales, engineering, production) on artwork, graphic design assets, and marketing initiatives

·        Assist the operation of various graphics equipment including CO2 Laser Engravers/Cutting (Trotec), Digital Print Press, and Film Output processing, maintenance protocols, and documentation.

·        Support production scheduling and documentation to meet delivery targets.

·        Assist with OEM Automotive Marketing and Design Teams to create and/or revise corporate identity artwork including creating new graphics for products and packaging, manipulating previously created graphics, and altering photos. Keep work areas clean, organized, and audit ready.

·        Follow all company procedures, ISO standards, and safety guidelines.

·        Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE: 

·        1–2 years of experience in graphic design, print production, or related field.

·        Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat) and CorelDRAW

·        Familiarity with RIP systems and Commercial printers. Fiery Command workstation and Konica Minolta a plus.

·        Comfortable working in both graphic design and hands-on production.

·        Experience in a print shop and manufacturing environment a plus.

·        Strong organization, time management, and communication skills.

·        Bilingual (English/Spanish) and ISO experience are desirable.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

·        Occasionally walk across the street between locations.

·        Ability to communicate clearly on the phone.

·        Position requires the ability to occasionally bend, stop, reach, lift, move and carry office materials and supplies weighing 50 pounds or less.

·        Finger dexterity is required to operate a computer keyboard.

·        Applicants should have a clear vision, correct color perception and hand-eye coordination. 

·        Ability to stand for 1-2 hours sporadically, if needed, through an 8-hour workday.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

·        Warehouse/production type facility, mostly through the use of hand loaded and unloaded equipment.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:

·        ISO knowledge/experience would be a plus

·        Understanding Laser Marking for Metal Substrates would be a plus.

·        Able to communicate in Spanish would be a plus

TECHNICAL SKILLS: 

·        Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and CorelDRAW (skilled in prepress, color management, layout, typography, and preparing production-ready files).

·        Proficient with computers and standard office software (Word, Excel, Outlook)

·        Experience with RIP systems and commercial digital printers (e.g., Fiery Command Workstation, Konica Minolta)

·        Familiarity with file management and collaboration tools (e.g., SharePoint, Google Sheets) is a plus.

WORK SITE SCHEDULE:

• 8 hours Monday-Friday, Day shift.
• Onsite - leave work at work!
