Custom Cabinet and Architectural Woodworking shop looking for:
Project Estimator/Project Manager
Responsibilities include:
Obtaining and reading all construction document take-offs. Must be able to read and understand construction drawings leading to project proposals.
Create takeoff schedule listing our scope of work
Prepare RFI’s to customers for clarity on project
Obtain buyout costs for items not fabricated in house
Prepare proposals to submit to customer
Upon awarding of project prepare information for handoff meeting with project manager and shop manager or may also entail project management for the right individual.
Strong computer skills in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must.
Strong organization skills
Knowledge of architectural millwork standards
Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and be able to multi-task.
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or the equivalent
- 5 years of experience architectural woodworking or related industries
- Cabinet Vision experience a plus
Salary will be based on experience
