Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista to join our vibrant café team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service, prepare high-quality coffee and food items, and maintain a clean and welcoming environment. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and consistency.
- Operate POS systems for order processing and cash handling.
- Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately, and provide excellent customer service.
- Handle cash transactions efficiently, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including food preparation stations, seating areas, and equipment.
- Assist with food safety practices, including proper food handling and sanitation protocols.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service delivery.
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth operations throughout shifts.
- Engage with customers to promote products and enhance their overall experience.
Requirements
- 1-2 years of previous Barista experience or Coffee experience is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided.
- Strong Customer service skills with a friendly attitude.
- Ability to handle Food safety, Food handling, and Food preparation standards diligently.
- Good Time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during peak hours.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and making accurate change.
- Experience in the Food industry, particularly in Food service or Café environments, is advantageous.
