YOUTH SERVICES SPECIALIST
Camilla Public Library
Status: Part time
Hours: 25 hours per week; morning, afternoon and occasional evening and weekend work
Pay: $13 per hour

Duties include, but are not limited to the following:
- Youth programming - story times, crafts, activities
- Help plan and administer the annual Summer Reading Program
- Compiling statistics and activity reports
- Participate in activities that promote DTRL in the community
- Youth collection maintenance and book selection
- Circulation desk duties
- Assist patrons with print and computer resources
- Maintain safe, attractive and welcoming spaces
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid GA drivers license and clean driving record
- Public library experience is preferred; however, educators, paraprofessionals, and childcare professionals are encouraged to apply
- Represent DTRL with positivity and professionalism with colleagues, patrons, community partners and external stakeholders
- Willing to travel locally (other DTRL branches, festivals, school visits, connecting with external stakeholders, etc.)
- Able to bend, stretch, and move around the library at a moderate to quick pace, with long periods of time spent standing or actively engaging with patrons during programs
- Able to lift up to forty (40) pounds
