Overview
Join our team as an Elementary School Night Custodian and play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. This position offers the opportunity to work during evening hours, ensuring the school facilities are clean and ready for the next day’s activities.
Hours of work are 2:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. This position will transition to day hours during the summer months when school is not in session.
Qualifications:
- Knowledge / experience regarding cleaning a variety of floor finishes
- Knowledge / experience regarding use of cleaning equipment
- Ability to maintain high standards related to cleaning
- Ability to follow directions in use of cleaning products
- Able to assist with the set-up and clean-up requirements for activities in the building
- Must be in good health
- Enthusiastic and self-motivated; takes pride in a job well done
- Able to work with others including school personnel, students, and parents
Essential Functions
- Cleaning rooms, halls, offices, bathrooms, steps, walls, etc.
- Set-up and clean-up related to building activities
- Occasional snow removal
- Other duties as assigned
