**Job Summary**

As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Carmel Hills, you will provide high-quality nursing care to patients on our day shift. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• **Delivering patient-centered care**: Assessing patient needs, developing individualized care plans, and implementing effective interventions to promote optimal health outcomes.
• **Medication administration**: Safely administering medications as ordered by physicians and monitoring patient responses.
• **Wound care and treatment**: Providing specialized wound care and treatment to patients with varying wound types and severity.
• **Venous access**: Establishing and maintaining venous access devices, such as IV lines and ports.
• **Documentation and communication**: Accurately documenting patient care and communicating effectively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless coordination of care.
• **Collaboration and team building**: Working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to achieve patient-centered goals and supporting a positive and respectful work environment.
  
  
  

**Requirements**

• Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of Missouri
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in nursing or related field preferred
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
