Cameo Consulting Group, LLC, a management consulting practice based out of Alexandria, VA, is seeking a qualified and available Business Subject Matter Expert (SME) for a Federal client in Washington, DC.
General Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Performs highly complex research and analysis of performance plans and provides performance measurement project oversight, reporting directly to OFLC Management.
- Develops sophisticated analytical conclusions and recommendations, and prepares presentations and reports for the OFLC senior leadership.
- Performs highly complex analysis of visa program metrics, and make recommendations regarding future projections in order to support senior-level oversight and decision-making impacting manpower during peak seasons.
- Prepares charts, graphs, and narratives for the presentation of data on visa program performance.
- Performs highly complex duties designed to support and improve upon OFLC’s management and program integrity functions.
- Proficient in using various query tools including the Query Builder and SQL and Report Builder in MS Access.
- Able to understand relational database concepts in order to extract data from existing tables both local and remote and create extract and interim tables.
- Duties include database creation and maintenance; high-level knowledge of MS Excel formulas. Able to use features of MS Excel to sort, display and chart data, including use of filters, macros and pivot tables. Knowledge of Tableau Server.
- Able to use MS Word and PowerPoint to provide a narrative explanation of results and present charts and graphics.
Desired Qualifications:
- Candidate should have 7 or more years of experience in related work for a Federal agency. Knowledge of visa program statutes, regulations, and processes, including prevailing wage sources, is a plus
- Ability to explain statistical processes and procedures in a clear and concise manner when collaborating with OFLC staff members.
- Demonstrable ability to convey and document analysis through briefings, memoranda, talking points, reports, and other presentations to audiences with varying levels of understanding.
