Responsibilities

• Perform detailed floor scrubbing, buffing, waxing, and refinishing to restore floors to their optimal condition.
• Operate a variety of cleaning equipment including floor buffers, scrubbers, polishers, and carpet cleaning machines with precision and care.
• Handle cleaning chemicals and floor cleaning agents safely while adhering to environmental health standards.
• Conduct routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and detailed spot cleaning across different flooring surfaces.
• Execute heavy lifting tasks involving equipment or supplies to support ongoing maintenance activities.
• Maintain high standards of customer service by responding promptly to client requests and ensuring satisfaction with cleaning results.
• Follow safety protocols for chemical handling and manual handling to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements

• Proven experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services, including janitorial or environmental services roles.
• Knowledge of floor care techniques such as floor scrubbing, buffing, waxing, and carpet cleaning.
• Ability to operate various cleaning equipment safely and effectively.
• Familiarity with handling floor cleaning chemicals and chemical agents in accordance with safety guidelines.
• Physical capability for manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude towards clients and team members.

Pay: $12.00 - $13.00 per hour
