Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Staffing Coordinator/Recruiter to join our Human Resources team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing, attracting, and hiring top talent across various roles within the organization. This role involves managing the full recruitment lifecycle, building strong relationships with candidates and hiring managers, and utilizing advanced HRIS and ATS systems to streamline processes. The Staffing Coordinator/Recruiter will play a vital role in supporting our talent acquisition strategies, ensuring compliance with employment laws, and fostering a positive candidate experience.
Duties
- Manage end-to-end recruitment processes including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding candidates across multiple channels such as social media, job boards, and campus recruitment events.
- Utilize ATS platforms like Workday, iCIMS, Taleo, and PeopleSoft to track applicant flow and maintain accurate candidate records.
- Conduct HR sourcing activities including cold calling, relationship management, and lead generation to identify high-quality candidates.
- Negotiate employment contracts and employment terms with candidates while ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies.
- Coordinate employee orientation sessions and assist in employee evaluation processes to support onboarding and retention efforts.
- Develop talent pipelines through succession planning, training & development programs, and internal recruiting initiatives.
- Maintain knowledge of employment & labor law to ensure all recruiting activities adhere to legal standards.
- Collaborate with hiring managers on job descriptions, candidate assessment criteria, and interview scheduling.
- Manage social media accounts for employer branding and talent attraction purposes.
- Support employee relations initiatives by facilitating communication between new hires and management.
Requirements
- Proven experience in technical recruiting, executive recruiting, campus recruitment, or HR sourcing with a strong understanding of talent management strategies.
- Proficiency in ATS platforms such as Workday, Taleo, iCIMS, PeopleSoft, UltiPro, Kronos, ADP, Paychex, Salesforce, HRIS systems including HRIS tools like SAP or Oracle HRMS.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to negotiate effectively and build lasting relationships with candidates and internal stakeholders.
- Strong research skills for lead generation and market analysis to identify top talent pools.
- Knowledge of employment & labor law to ensure compliance during all phases of recruitment.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Experience with social media management for recruiting purposes is preferred.
- Familiarity with training & development programs as well as succession planning initiatives is advantageous. Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $21.26 - $25.60 per hour
