Job Title: Facilities Attendant
Department: Mountain Operations / Grounds
Reports to: Director of Mountain Operations
The Facilities Attendant monitors and supports the operation, maintenance, and compliance of all wastewater facilities owned by the Company while helping maintain the surrounding grounds and infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor operations of all wastewater facilities owned by the Company.
- Conduct required testing and analysis for proper facility operation and reporting in compliance with all regulatory permits.
- Operate wastewater treatment facilities in full compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Maintain facility records, blueprints, equipment manuals, and operational data.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on plant equipment including pumps, motors, instruments, and chemical feed systems.
- Maintain grounds, buildings, and infrastructure of wastewater treatment areas.
- Complete general groundskeeping duties including grass cutting, trimming, brush cutting, painting, and basic carpentry work.
- Follow all safety requirements related to hazardous chemical handling and personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Support a safe and positive environment for guests and fellow team members.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Flexible work schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
- Strong listening, problem-solving, and communication skills (verbal and written).
- Must be able to speak and read English, additional languages a plus.
- Position requires strong mechanical skills related to the repair and replacement of wastewater treatment equipment.
- Ability to traverse steep terrain.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time (typically 8-hour shifts)
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds without assistance.
- Ability to tolerate exposure to busy, noisy, outdoor environments and varying weather conditions, including hot temperatures, cold weather, rain, and snow.
- General maintenance skills including groundskeeping, painting, and basic building repairs preferred.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of our guests.
- Ability to work in a fun, fast-paced environment.
