Primary Responsibilities
- Oversee multi-channel marketing campaigns including digital, social, email, print, paid media, and in-resort activations to drive revenue and visitation.
- Develop and lead integrated annual marketing plans across lodging, skiing, waterparks, F&B, and year-round adventure attractions.
- Lead the creative development process with internal teams and agency partners to deliver high-quality, on-brand content and storytelling.
- Partner with operations, revenue management, and guest services to ensure timely communication of snow conditions, weather updates, attraction status, and resort information.
- Drive product positioning, guest segmentation, and go-to-market strategies across all business units.
- Manage website and app optimization, ensuring best-in-class user experience, e-commerce performance, and visual standards.
- Support Group Sales and F&B teams with targetedmarketing for group lodging, events, conferences, banquets, and special programs.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and guest behavior to guide strategic decisions and maintain competitive advantage.
- Oversee marketing budgets, analyze performance and ROI, and prepare regular reporting for leadership.
- Partner closely with the corporate marketing agency to plan and execute graphic design projects, digital campaigns, social media strategies, and public relations initiatives.
- Recruit, lead, and develop a high-performing marketing team that supports resort-wide strategic goals.
- Continuously enhance the resort website and mobile app with improved UX, personalization, technical integrations, and e-commerce optimization.
- Leverage guest data to deepen customer segmentation and evolve behavioral, demographic, and predictive marketing strategies.
- Track and optimize the full guest journey across digital touchpoints to increase engagement, satisfaction, and conversion.
- Evaluate and refine marketing programs through performance analysis, testing, and innovation.
- Research and monitor market conditions, guest trends, and competitor activity to inform long-range strategies.
- Support new product development, attraction launches, and seasonal experiences with integrated go-to-market planning.
- Ensure cohesive brand storytelling and adherence to visual and messaging standards across all channels.
- Strengthen partnership marketing opportunities with external vendors, regional partners, and community organizations.
- Contribute to annual business planning, revenue strategy discussions, and resort-wide initiatives.
- Champion best practices in digital content, CRM utilization, and marketing technology.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or related field required; advanced degree preferred.
- 5 years of marketing leadership experience in hospitality, resort, ski, waterpark, attractions, or related industry.
- Strong organizational, leadership, and project management skills are required. Must be able to lead a large team, think strategically, and handle multiple projects.
- Demonstrated ability to drive the achievement of business goals through aligning people, processes, structure, information, and communication systems in a rapidly growing/dynamic market(s).
- Strong project management, organizational, and leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives in a seasonal, fast-paced environment.
- Expertise with digital marketing platforms, analytics tools, CRM systems, and content management systems.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and effectively.
