Responsibilities - Vehicle Acquisition Specialist:
Find and purchase the best mix of vehicles for our used car inventory.- Utilize multiple platforms to prospect for vehicle sellers using Autotrader, Cars.com, Craigslist, Facebook Marketplace, Social Media and the Service Drive
- Follow up on internet leads from Kelly Blue Book customers
- Schedule KBB appointments and coordinate with Used Car Manager
- Work with logistical partners to arrange vehicle transportation
- Manage the reconditioning process of used cars
- Ask service lane customers about acquiring their vehicle
- Contact internet and phone leads submitted by customers seeking to sell their vehicles.
- Follow up internet leads from Kelly Blue Book customers
- Appraise and identify values on vehicles
- Merchandise inventory on the lot
- Other duties may be assigned
Qualifications/Requirements - Vehicle Acquisition Specialist:
Automotive appraisal and purchasing experience is preferred- Proficient computer skills and experience navigating multiple internet and social media sites
- Good negotiation, communication and customer service skills
- Self-motivated, professional, ethical and respectful
- Driver's license and good driving record
- High school diploma or GED
