Safety is a top priority at Cameco. Successful candidates for all positions that will involve work at Safety-Sensitive Sites or in Safety-Sensitive Positions must take and pass a Substance Test, which includes marijuana, as a condition of employment. Marijuana remains in a user’s system for about 30 days, so applicants who recently used marijuana recreationally should not expect to pass a substance test.

Position And Responsibilities
- Working within the Operations department, you will be responsible for the operation of facilities and wellfields in restoration including maintaining and balancing flows, leak detection, collecting water samples, , and pump maintenance activities.
- You will also perform resin transfers in accordance with established procedures and parameters.
- Responsible for the evaluation and maintenance of equipment in the production of yellowcake.
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to health and safety.
- This position will have a direct impact on mine production/restoration
- This position involves shift work, rotating between days and nights every two weeks
- Successful candidate will be assigned to one of several facilities and may be transferred to other facilities based on business need.
- Must have a high school diploma and a minimum of 1 year of directly related experience.
- Basic maintenance/construction skills are required and preference will be given to candidates who have previous experience monitoring/maintaining pipeline pressure and flow control.
- Must be able to demonstrate basic proficiency with MS Office, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
