Title: Part-Time Facilities Maintenance Worker

Supervisor: Building Maintenance Coordinator
Status: Part-Time/Hourly/Non-Exempt
Pay: $11.00 per hour
Education: High School Student Graduate or Equivalent.
Position Summary: Duties include maintaining the overall aesthetic of the PSA recreational center.
Essential Responsibilities/Duties:
- Clean and maintain the PSA recreational facility
- Collect and dispose of trash/litter at facility
- Perform a variety of repairs and upkeep of facility
- Sweep, mop, clean sinks, toilets, and all flat surfaces
- Replenish paper products
- Empty trashcans.
- Perform other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Knowledge of basic cleaning techniques and practices
- Skill in the operation and maintenance of small hand tools and motor-powered hand tools
- Skill in the application of commercially prepared cleaning solutions/chemicals
- Ability to carry out oral and written instructions
Working Environment: Indoor/outdoor environment. Exposed to year-round outside weather elements. Moderate to loud noise within building. Protective clothing may be required. Fast paced, requiring flexibility in handling a variety of functions, simultaneously.
Physical Requirements: This position requires standing for extended periods of time, walking, stopping, standing, pushing, pulling, and bending. Must be able to carry or lift more than 50 pounds of various items. Must speak and hear sufficiently for understanding. Vision requirement includes: close, distance, color, peripheral and depth perception.
