EXPERIENCE: One (1) year of library experience demonstrating practical knowledge of library functions, services, terminology, techniques, procedures, and standard tools (card catalog, microfilm, shelving, circulation systems, etc.).
NOTE: Successful completion of one (1) year in a librarian technician course at an accredited college or university can be substituted for the above experience. LICENSE: Appointees will be required to possess a driver's license valid in New Jersey only if the operation of a vehicle, rather than employee mobility, is necessary to perform the essential duties of the position.
NOTE: The responsibility for ensuring that employees possess the required motor vehicle license, commensurate with the class and type of vehicles they operate rests with the Appointing Authority.
