MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE:
1.Mustpossesscurrent Licensure as required by state where services are being provided:
WV:Paramedic through the West Virginia Office of Emergency Medical Services
2. Nationally registered as Paramedic as required by state board:
WV:Paramedicthrough National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (Unless state license is State License Only (SLO)
3. Mobile Critical Care Paramedic Certification through West Virginia Office of Emergency Medical Services.
4. Basic Life Support Certification within30 daysof hire.
5. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
6.International Trauma Life Support(ITLS)ORPrehospital Trauma Life Support(PHTLS)
7. Pediatric Advanced Life Support(PALS)ORPediatric Education for Prehospital Professionals(PEPP)
EXPERIENCE:
1. Three (3) years' experience as a Field Paramedic

1. Responsible for providing emergency care for patients as they are transported from one facility to another.
2. Keeps the patient stable throughout transport by assessing, monitoring, and intervening using a variety of procedures and interventions.
3. Monitors chest tubes
4. Monitors transvenous pacemaker monitoring, ability to adjust rate and milliamps if needed.
5. Monitors Balloon Pumps.
6. Performs NG and OG insertions.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
1. Knowledge of cardiac monitoring of 4 lead ecg and obtaining/ interpreting 12 lead ecg's
2. Knowledge of Tracheal intubation's.
3. Knowledge of Ventilator setting and monitoring
4. Accessing PICC Lines for medication administration
5. Capabilities of performing RSI
6. Setting IV pumps for multiple medication administration's
