Powder Blender (53590)

Responsible for blending raw materials according to specified formulas and procedures in a manufacturing environment.

Following Blending Instructions: 

• Read and meticulously follow instructions provided on the blending sheet. 

• Log lot numbers accurately to maintain traceability. 

Material Preparation: 

• Identify the correct raw materials required for the blend. 

• Retrieve the necessary items and prepare the blending area. 

Safety and Quality Assurance: 

• Adhere to company policies and procedures to ensure safety, integrity, and product quality. 

• Promptly recognize and report any safety issues related to products or equipment. 

Weighing and Mixing: 

• Weigh raw materials according to production orders. 

• Blend chemicals precisely based on established guidelines. 

Independent Work and Team Collaboration: 

• Demonstrate the ability to work independently and with minimal supervision. 

• Foster good work habits and consistently follow established processes. 

Equipment Maintenance: 

• Keep blending equipment operational by: 

• Following operating instructions. 

• Troubleshooting breakdowns. 

• Maintaining supplies. 

• Performing preventive maintenance. 

• Requesting repairs when needed. 

Communication and Dependability: 

• Be a team player with strong communication skills (both verbal and written). 

• Exhibit punctuality and regular attendance as per company policy. 

• Ability to focus and stay on task 
• Basic math skills 
• Capability to lift 50 lbs. throughout the shift 
• Adaptability to change 
• Willingness to wear safety equipment, including safety glasses, steel toe boots, respirator, and dust mask. 
• Ability to pass the respirator fit test
• High School Diploma or Equivalent 
• 1-2 years of manufacturing blending experience.
