Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Roofer/Chimney Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in all varieties of roofing, Slate, Rubber torch down/flat roof, and shingle with the ability to work on various projects ranging from remodeling to restoration. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can fabricate, install, and repair structures with precision and craftsmanship.
Responsibilities
- Perform roofing and chimney tasks.
- Execute masonry work such as bricklaying, stone setting, and concrete pouring.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete projects.
- Fabricate components as needed for specific jobs, ensuring adherence to project specifications.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople on-site to ensure project timelines are met.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
- Participate in remodeling projects that may involve both carpentry and masonry skills.
Experience
- Proven experience in roofing and masonry, preferably within the restoration industry.
- Experience with Fireplaces and chimneys.
- Experience in slate, flat roof, and shingle installation and finishing techniques is desirable.
