About The Role
As a Library Sales Representative, you will manage a growing territory across the western US and help expand the reach of our digital academic products and services. You will develop a deep understanding of library needs, build trusted partnerships, and drive sustainable revenue growth.

- Developing strong relationships with institutional libraries, consortia partners, and key accounts.
- Applying product knowledge, market insight, and competitive understanding to position Cambridge's offerings effectively.
- Meeting and exceeding regional sales goals and individual targets.
- Staying informed about emerging issues and trends in the library sector.
- Collaborating with colleagues across Sales, Marketing, Editorial, Production, and operational support teams.

Essential skills:
- Previous sales experience is strongly preferred, with a demonstrated ability to identify opportunities, influence outcomes, and support customer growth.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, including confidence in presenting.
- A strong customer‑first mindset and the ability to build productive, long‑term relationships.
- Ability to multi‑task, prioritise effectively, and work under deadline pressure.
- Analytical, curious, and able to interpret diverse datasets to inform decisions.
- Detail‑oriented, efficient, persuasive, and entrepreneurial in approach.
- Comfort adapting to change and learning new technologies quickly.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience using Salesforce, SAP, or Business Intelligence tools is a plus.
