As a Childcare Provider, you will play a vital role in nurturing and guiding the next generation. Pay is based on experience and qualifications. Raises and bonuses are evaluated and distributed on a regular basis.
What you’ll do
- Provide attentive care to infants and toddlers, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Develop and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning and social skills.
- Support children with disabilities by adapting activities to meet their unique needs.
- Foster positive behavior management techniques to encourage cooperation and respect among children.
- Maintain a clean and organized environment that promotes exploration and creativity.
- Communicate effectively with parents or guardians about their child’s progress and daily experiences.
- Collaborate with other childcare staff to create a cohesive team atmosphere focused on the children's growth.
- Stay current on best practices in early childhood education through ongoing training and professional development.
Basic qualifications
- Proven experience working with children in various settings such as daycare, preschool, or babysitting.
- Strong understanding of childhood development principles and early learning standards.
- CPR certification will be provided if not already current
Preferred qualifications
- Experience in toddler care, infant care, or nannying roles.
- Background in teaching or classroom experience is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with behavior management strategies tailored to young children.
