We are seeking a skilled and motivated CNC Programmer to join our aerospace manufacturing team. This is a full-time position working under the direct supervision of the Director of Quality.

We are seeking a skilled and motivated CNC Programmer to join our aerospace manufacturing team. This is a full-time position working under the direct supervision of the Director of Quality.
Job Description: The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience programming CNC milling machines and a strong understanding of machining processes for aerospace components.
Position Specific Expectations
- Program CNC milling machines, including 3-axis, 4-axis, and 3 2 axis configurations.
- Develop machining processes for simple aerospace parts; collaborate with the team on more complex components.
- Generate solid models, NC programs, setup sheets, and operation documentation for each machining operation.
- Design machining fixtures and provide clear operation sheets for the tooling department.
- Work closely with CNC operators and setup personnel during product development and initial runs.
- Select appropriate cutting tools, preferably from our existing tool library, while remaining open to innovative tooling solutions.
- Utilize SolidWorks for model design, integrated with CAMWorks for NC programming.
- Previous experience as a CNC Operator is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of aerospace machining standards and best practices.
- Willingness to learn and grow within the role, including cross-training in other areas of the business.
- Proficiency with SolidWorks and CAMWorks is a plus.
- We are open to candidates experienced with other programming software, provided they have a solid background in aerospace part programming. Training can be provided on our software systems as needed.
