Location: San Mateo, CA
On-Site position
The Job: Early Design & Development for class III Active Implantable device. Catheter-deployed Implant which combines various materials & components: wireless sensors, nitinol components, catheter delivery system
Ideal Product Development Background/Experience: Active-Implants (AIMD), electromechanical Implants, Pacemakers, or ICD (implantable cardiac defibrillators)
Requirements:
- BS or MS Engineering (Mechanical preferred, or Biomedical)
- MUST HAVE: 8-10 years medical device R&D product development experience with medical electronics/active-Implantable medical devices (AIMDs)
- Startup experience highly preferred, or mix of some large company startup experience OK
- Mix of Mechanical/Biomedical Engineering
- Must Be Hands-On! This is a startup and need someone who is comfortable doing their own design/prototype/testing in the lab, and be very independent.
- Design Verification Testing - design of tests, execution, documentation
- Local Candidates preferred - no relocation assistance available (sorry)
- Software: SolidWorks (mechanical design/simulation); and 3mensio (anatomical analysis).
Salary : $190,000 - $225,000
