What are the responsibilities and job description for the School Committee Technical Services Technician position at Cambridge Public Schools?
Description of Service Opportunity:
- Co-staff robotic production unit. Assist with set up for media presentations, maintain and troubleshoot technical equipment and resolve
network-related issues in the School Committee Room.
Requirements:
- Experience with audio-visual and network technology include fiber transport, sound system, IP, Wireless, Cell Carrier and VOIP technologies.
- Familiarity with the Cambridge Public Schools technology and network.
- Available to work first and third Tuesdays of each month from September – June, including August summer meeting.
Length of Contract:
August 01, 2026 through June 30, 2027
Contract Amount
Not exceed $9441.00
Please note that your hourly rate is dependent upon your collective bargaining agreement or individual hourly rate. If you are a non-exempt employee and have worked more than 40 hours a week, you will be paid time and a half for any hours worked over 40 hours
