What are the responsibilities and job description for the Library Clerk position at Cambridge Public Library District?
Library Clerk works the circulation desk and will charge and discharge library materials, shelve books, handle interlibrary loan, help answer the telephone, catalog books, etc.
The Library Clerk will also assist the youth services associate. Potential for promotion in next year. Must meet the physical demands of the job and lift up to 40 lbs.
The Library Clerk must be able to work 2 Saturdays per month from 10-2 and every Tuesday and Thursday from 10-4 and Friday from 10-5. Must be willing to occasionally cover night staff (4-7).
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $15.15 per hour
Expected hours: 20 per week
