We are a small, under-50-person envelope converting company operating specialized Winkler & Dunnebier (W&D) converting equipment and Itotec and Busch cutting equipment. Position Overview - Converting, hiring both shifts
We are hiring entry-level Cutting or Converting Machine Operators to join our production team. No prior envelope or cutting or converting experience is required—we provide hands-on training by pairing new hires with experienced operators in a live production environment.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys learning, asks questions, works well with others, and can thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
Training & Shift Details
- Initial training will take place on 1st shift for both first and second shift applicants
- After training, employee may transition to 2nd shift (2:30 PM – 11:00 PM, Monday–Friday, if they wish to work second shift)
- Additional training and support will continue as you move into independent production
- Some 1st shift opportunities require latex or heat-seal operation
What You Will Do
- Learn to operate Winkler & Dunnebier envelope converting machines
- Learn to operate Itotech and Busch cutting machines
- Assist with machine setup, operation, maintenance and monitoring during production runs
- Perform quality checks to ensure product meets specifications
- Work closely with experienced operators and team members
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Communicate issues and ask questions to support continuous improvement
