Primary Teacher

Job Description

Cambridge Montessori School, a well-established Montessori school in Sugar Land, is seeking a qualified, dedicated, nurturing, and passionate teacher. The hours for this position are Monday through Friday from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm.

Responsibilities:

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Supervising children ages 3 through 6 years old.
• Creating a fun and safe learning environment.
• Developing and implementing engaging curriculum tailored to the needs of students.
• Writing daily reports and discussing children's progress with parents.
• Keeping the classroom clean and sanitized.
• Participating in ongoing professional development opportunities.
  
  

Experience and Skills:

• Individuals applying must have at least one year of teaching experience in a licensed preschool or childcare facility. Montessori experience is preferred.
• Must be passionate about the growth and development of the children.
• Ability to build relationships with children.
• Exhibits strong interpersonal, communication, and organization skills.
• Ability to work as a team.
