Essential Functions:

- Inputs charges.
- Prepares the exam area for patients by keeping rooms cleaned, stocked, and ready for use at all times.
- Files and assists with medical records management.
- Schedules appointments and tests as ordered by the provider.
- Administers ordered medications, treatments and completes documentation.
- Assesses and records patients' vital signs, such as height, weight, temperature, blood pressure, pulse, respiration and pain level.
- Collects ordered specimens, such as blood and urine from patients, and forwards to the laboratory.
- Assesses inventory periodically and requisitions appropriate supplies and instruments.

- Documentation meets current standards and polices and is completed within the shift.

- When requested, assists in the orientation of RNs, LPNs, nurse aides and ward clerks.
- Collaborates and coordinates with the information technology department to provide telehealth services.
