Position Summary:
The Manufacturing Administrator supports daily plant operations by executing and managing transactional activities within the company’s ERP system. This role ensures accuracy and timeliness in production planning, purchasing, and logistics processes, contributing to efficient workflow, inventory control, and on-time delivery performance.
Key Responsibilities:
· Production Planning Support:
o Create, update, and maintain production orders in the ERP system
o Monitor order status and ensure alignment with production schedules
o Coordinate with production supervisors to adjust orders as needed
· Purchasing & Inventory Transactions:
o Create and track purchase requisitions, primarily for MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Operations) supplies
o Perform goods receipt transactions and verify accuracy of received materials
o Ensure proper documentation and system updates for all purchasing activities
· Logistics Coordination:
o Create and post outbound shipments in the ERP system
o Schedule and maintain delivery appointments with carriers and customers
o Ensure shipping documentation is accurate and complete
· Data Accuracy & Compliance:
o Maintain accurate records across all ERP transactions
o Support inventory accuracy and audit readiness
o Follow company policies, procedures, and internal controls
· Cross-Functional Collaboration:
o Work closely with Production, Procurement, Warehouse, and Logistics teams
o Communicating discrepancies or delays impacting operations
· Attendance & Point Tracking:
o Collect, review, and maintain employee attendance records. Accurately calculate and assign attendance points in accordance with the company's attendance and point policy, ensuring records are up to date and communicated to management as needed.
Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
· 2 years of experience in manufacturing or industrial administrative role
· Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar) strongly preferred
· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
· Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Skills:
· Knowledge of manufacturing workflows and inventory control processes
· Familiarity with MRO purchasing practices
· Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
Work Environment:
This position operates in a manufacturing environment with both office and shop floor interaction.
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
